Why is it important to select the correct monthly mileage allowance?

When selecting your vehicle you will also be asked to select a monthly mileage allowance, either 1,000, 1,500 or 2,000, miles per period so, it is important to make sure that you choose the correct allowance for your needs as any excess mileage will be chargeable.

Excess mileage charges vary dependant on the vehicle supplied and can be found on your service agreement. These are charged on pence per mile basis, with excess mileage chargeable after every vehicle exchange and vehicle off-hire.

Excess miles will be calculated by multiplying the days of hire (from first day of hire to date of exchange or off-hire) by the relevant mileage allowance.
We must be notified once the vehicle odometer has covered over 10,000 miles.
If the vehicle is driven in excess of 12,000 miles on the odometer without our prior written consent, excess mileage will be charged at a minimum of £1.00 per mile.
