Proud members of the BVRLA
Whether you are hiring a car for a day, a month or a year, it is important to have confidence that you are dealing with a reputable company and that you can be assured of a fair and impartial dispute resolution process in the event of any problems.
AMT Short Term Lease are proud members of the British Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association (BVRLA) who are the national trade body for all UK companies involved in the leasing and rental of vehicles and they work on behalf of the millions of people renting and leasing cars each year to ensure that the industry is properly regulated.
Whilst we try to ensure that every short term lease that we arrange goes smoothly, and that we deal with any issues promptly and to the satisfaction of the customer, it can sometimes be helpful for both parties to have an impartial outsider review the case and this is where the BVRLA step in. As a Government approved mediator they are able to consider both points of view and issue a finding accordingly.
Fair Wear and Tear Policy
As members of the BVRLA, AMT adhere to the guidelines laid out on fair wear and tear and what is considered reasonable during your rental. You will be taken through an inspection of the vehicle during the initial handover process and again at the end of the rental. You should regularly check the condition of the vehicle during your hire and notify us at once if you spot any damage whilst you have the car.
You can familiarise yourself with the BVRLA fair wear and tear policy here and if you have any questions during your rental, you can contact our reservations team on +44113 387 42 61 and we will be happy to answer any questions that you have.
You can find out more about the BVRLA on their website or contact us with any questions you might have regarding our membership and what it means for you.
